If you live in the Greater Boston area and are looking for some terrific urban fishing, the Lower Charles River has an excellent largemouth fishery worth checking out in a small boat or kayak, or even from shore. We fished the Lower Charles last spring with Capt. Greg Miner of Charles River Charters, and discovered a whole new way to appreciate Boston and the much-maligned river that has really cleaned up its act!
