Stamford, CT, Boatyard Demolished!

Stamford Advocate: Escalating tensions with the city and the boating community, the developer of Harbor Point last month demolished the remaining buildings on a boatyard that it had shut down in a controversial move.

Building and Land Technology, which owns the 14-acre boatyard that had sat at the tip of the South End, near Dyke Lane and Bateman Way, received a demolition permit on December 14 and another on December 27, to raze a total of 14 building structures on the site, according to the city’s buildings department.
