States to Crack Down on Drunk Boating June 28-30

Law enforcement officials around the country will be making additional efforts to bust impaired boaters on the weekend of June 28-30, 2013, as Operation Dry Water enters its 5th year.

Dry Water is an awareness and enforcement campaign during which law enforcement officers encourage boaters not to boat under the influence.

To date, 200 agencies, units and stations have registered to participate in Operation Dry Water 2013.

Last year, 337 BUI citations were issued during the Operation Dry Water weekend.
