Stranded Hunters Rescued from Norwalk Islands

TheHour.com: Officers from the Marine Unit of the Norwalk Police Department rescued 2 duck hunters who were stranded on one of the Norwalk islands Friday afternoon [January 13].

Sgt. Peter Lapak and Officer John Taranto helped the 2 camouflage-clad hunters, whose boat became unsecured by heavy wind gusts, according to Capt. Ernest Vitarbo, patrol division commander.
