Switlik’s Crew Overboard Rescue Device (CORD) is an Underarm Flotation Device (UFD) designed for man-overboard emergencies. The horseshoe-shaped CORD provides 35 pounds of buoyancy is designed to keep a person’s head and shoulders above the water. Meanwhile, the device’s reflective material makes it easy to spot from a distance.
The CORD is rigged for manual inflation and when deployed, the unit stays attached to the boat via a shackle incorporated into the mounting system. The CORD can be used multiple times and is self-serviceable with a one-year service interval.
