Providence Journal: Large schools of striped bass moved into the Bay Thursday morning. They were chasing bait in the waters off Barrington, Providence Point and Bear Point, said Ken Landry. He caught several fish on an Atomic Chicken Slug-Go.

Landry caught two 10-pound tautog on homemade jigs tipped with crabs this week, said Ken Ferrara of Ray’s Bait & Tackle. Ferrara recommends fishing near Conimicut Light, Rocky Point, Ohio Ledge, Plum Point, and Coddington Cove.

School stripers as well as some 32” fish were hitting trolled lures and tube-and-worm rigs along the northern shore of Greenwich Bay and Chepiwanoxet and Conimicut points this week, Ferrara said.
