The new Tidewater 230 CC Adventure is a rugged, affordable and versatile center console. The self-bailing hull is built of all-composite materials (no wood) and comes with a 10-year transferable warranty and foam flotation. Sporting a “Carolina flare” and a deep-vee entry, the 230 CC is a dry-riding hull that can take on rough waters, both inshore and offshore. Its lines are not only performance-driven, but aesthetically pleasing as well.
The 230 CC features fishing-friendly items such as twin fishboxes, a 25-gallon aerated live well, under-gunwale rod racks, forward casting deck and plenty of rod holders. Other standard features include an automatic bilge pump, a raw-water washdown, a lockable head/storage compartment and padded coaming.
Rigged with a Yamaha F250XA outboard, the Tidewater 23 will cruise at 25 mph at 3500 rpm, burning 6.9 gph and getting 3.62 mpg. Wide-open throttle at 6050 rpm delivers a 48.7 mph top end while burning 23 gph.
