September 14, 2010
The Hour of Norwalk, CT, reports that a pair of teenagers were arrested Sunday, Sept. 12 for allegedly stealing beer from an occupied boat at Norwalk Cove Marina, police said.
Officers responded to the marina at 48 Calf Pasture Road shortly after midnight after a local boater awoke to find 3 males rummaging through coolers aboard his vessel, police said.
According to police, the boater confronted the young men, and they immediately jumped ship and ran down the dock slip toward a fourth man, who was waiting down the road.
The boater was able to corral one of the suspects and detain him until police arrived.
Officers caught up with a second suspect a short time later, and during their investigation, allegedly found a backpack filled with Corona, Bud Light and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
