URI Oceanography School to Host Benefit Aboard Tall Ship

Members of Rhode Island University’s Graduate School of Oceanography (URI) will hold a benefit reception aboard Rhode Island’s Tall Ship, the 200’ SSV Oliver Hazard Perry on May 12, from 5-8 p.m., at Fort Adams State Park in Newport.

Attendees can tour the ship and meet the chief scientists from the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography, who will embark in January 2016 on the first university-based voyage aboard the OHP.
