West Haven Unveils New Emergency Response Boat

The West Shore Fire Department [in West Haven, Connecticut] has unveiled a new $180,000 fire rescue boat that will go into service next week [July 9] and improve emergency response.

Two firefighters were also promoted at a Sunday meeting at the Ocean Avenue station, while a new fire commission chairman was named and another commissioner was sworn in to a new term.
