“Wicked Tuna” Star Pleads Guilty to Fraud

Gloucester Times: Wicked Tuna cast member Paul Hebert pleaded guilty to 2 counts of Social Security and Medicaid fraud in federal court in Vermont on Wednesday as part of a plea deal that holds no guarantee the Gloucester fisherman won’t receive jail time.

As part of the plea agreement accepted Wednesday by U.S. District Court Judge Christina Reiss, a federal prosecutor recommends Hebert receive four years probation and pay $53,561 in restitution while pleading guilty to two of the four original counts of benefits fraud, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Burlington, Vermont.
