Wollaston Yacht Club Struggles to Survive

The Wollaston Yacht Club in Quincy, Massachusetts, still owes the state more than $30,000 in back rent, but club leaders say they are rebuilding membership and slowly paying back the money, according to an article on PatriotLedger.com.
More than a decade ago, the yacht club paid just $600 a year to the State Department of Conservation and Recreation, but the rent shot up during Governor Mitt Romney’s administration to $5,000 a year.
