Wood Island Life-Saving Station Receives Restoration Funds

SeacoastOnline: Legislation sponsored by [Maine] Sen. Dawn Hill of Cape Neddick to provide state funding for the restoration project at Kittery’s historic Wood Island life-saving station received unanimous support to move forward in the legislative process.
“This is a great step in the right direction for the bill and I am pleased with the unanimous, bipartisan support out of committee,” Hill said. “This level of support is a testament to the efforts by the group working to save the station.”
