4 Dolphins Released After Cape Cod Stranding

CapeCodOnline: Four common dolphins that stranded in the East End [of Provincetown, MA] early Thursday [March 6] were released together in the early afternoon in waters at Herring Cove Beach.
A 5th dolphin, found dead, was kept for a necropsy, said Brian Sharp, stranding coordinator of the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
The beached dolphins were the second “mass stranding” of the Cape Cod season, which typically runs from November through March.
