Another Dolphin Stranded Today in Wellfleet Harbor
February 8, 2012
CapeCodOnline: One dolphin was found stranded this morning inside Wellfleet Harbor at Herring River and two more were swimming nearby, a spokesman with the International Fund for Animal Welfare said.
Two other dolphins were still swimming, said Michael Booth in an e-mail.
Rescuers are caring for the single dolphin while considering options for the other two. Low tide in Wellfleet is at about 6 p.m.
The IFAW team found several new dead animals yesterday, Booth said.
