Barge Runs Aground in Greenwich, CT

GreenwichTime.com: A barge that ran aground on rocks at the mouth of Greenwich Harbor near Indian Harbor Yacht Club Thursday [May 31] didn’t sustain any damage other than a slight “ding” on the boat’s steel bottom, according to Harbor Master Ian MacMillan.

The boat, which was carrying a crane and other equipment, became stuck on the rocks just off shore of the Steamboat Road peninsula around 10:45 a.m., according to MacMillan.
