Big Year for Maine Coastal Protection Projects

Knox Village Soup: Maine Coast Heritage Trust, a statewide land conservation organization, reports it completed more than 40 land conservation projects in 2011, including projects that benefit existing public parks.
The conservation efforts include more than 10 island properties and total approximately 15 miles of coastline from the Midcoast to Acadia National Park and Downeast to Cobscook Bay.
