Boat Catches Fire in Warwick, RI

Providence Journal: A man and his pet dog were led to safety early Thursday morning [November 17] after a nearby boat caught on fire, fire officials said.

Warwick Fire Battalion Chief Fred Trudell said firefighters were dispatched to Warwick Cove Marina at 2 Seminole St. at 12:45 a.m.

Firefighters found a 32’ fiberglass boat engulfed in flames. The boat was being repaired and was not occupied. But the flames extended over the dock, preventing a man who lives in a nearby boat from leaving his boat, Trudell said.
