Boater Charged in 2010 Nantucket Accident

Nantucket Inquirer & Mirror: Nearly a year after a hit-and-run boating collision off Madaket that sent 2 people to the hospital, a suspect was finally charged in Nantucket District Court Monday, but declined to appear for his arraignment, drawing the ire of Judge Joseph I. Macy.

James K. Sternlicht, 20, of Greenwich, Connecticut, was set to be arraigned Monday, July 11, on charges of unsafe operation of a motorboat, failure to report a motorboat accident, possession of liquor under the age of 21, and operating a motorboat without an identification number.
