Boater Dies in Boston Harbor Collision
July 18, 2011
Boston.com: One man died and another was seriously injured when their speedboat capsized yesterday afternoon near Boston Light, State Police said.
State Police spokesman David Procopio said the two men were ejected from the 27- to 30-foot-long speedboat, which “broke apart and capsized for reasons still under investigation.’’
Early police reports suggested that there had been a three-boat collision. But after further investigation, State Police said there was no indication that boats collided.
