Boaters Enter Duct Tape Kayak in Plymouth Race

Patriot Ledger: Saturday’s Great River Race will be a true tale of the tape for 3 veteran kayakers from Plymouth [Massachusetts].

Alex Russo, Dave Arruda and Brett Muirhead, co-workers at Billington Sea Kayak, spent the last month building a duct tape kayak to enter into the annual race up the North River. Russo will pilot the 19’ pink and gray boat in the August 18 race. And if the tape seals hold, it may be a competitive entry.
