Boats Runs Aground in Boston Harbor

Boston.com reports that a 30-foot pleasure boat ran aground in Boston Harbor on Thurs., Sept 16.

Area of Grounding

The grounding occurred near Gallups Island, said Chief Petty Officer Jeff Hall, a Coast Guard spokesman. No one was injured and the boat did not sustain any damage to its hull. A towboat was summoned to tow the boat into deep water.
