Boston Cruise to Benefit Cancer Research
July 10, 2012
Powerboaters, boat enthusiasts and sailors are invited to participate in the inaugural “Cruise for Life” on July 28 to benefit adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The event gives local mariners the opportunity to combine their love of being on the water with making a difference in the fight against cancer.
Participating boats and crewmembers will depart from their home pier and complete their journey at MacMillan Pier in Provincetown, Massachusetts, where they will meet fellow boaters and enjoy a lobster bake, BBQ, dancing, awards, and entertainment. The evening will also feature personal stories from patients and cancer survivors and presentations from doctors and researchers.
Registration fee is $500 per boat and crewmembers must meet a fundraising minimum of $250. For more information, to register your boat, become a crewmember, or to support a boater, cick here.
