Boston Fisheries Meeting Tomorrow to Address Menhaden Harvest

The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission’s Menhaden Board will consider proposed cuts on the commercial harvest of menhaden, and weigh the results of public hearings held along the coast for the past 3 months, tomorrow at its November 9 meeting in Boston, at the Langham Hotel on Franklin Street at 12:15.

Members of the recreational fishing community are being urged by angling and conservation groups to attend the meeting in order to protect this valuable species, so important to the marine ecosystem as a whole.
