Boston Main Ship Channel to be Dredged

Dredging Today: Rock removal from portions of the 40’ deep Main Ship Channel in the Boston Harbor Federal Navigation Project in Boston, will be conducted under the terms of a $2,231,250 contract issued recently by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District.

Work will be accomplished by Burnham Associates, Inc., of Salem, Massachusetts. The project is scheduled to start on or about August 1, 2012, and be completed by about September 30, 2012. The contract was awarded on July 16, 2012.
