Boston, New Bedford Partner to Sell Fish at Farmers Markets

SouthCoastToday: Boston Mayor Tom Menino netted another partner today (Aug. 31) in his effort to sell fresh fish at local farmers markets, claiming New Bedford as his newest catch.

Dayboat fish, fresh off the boat, were sold at some Boston farmers markets for the first time since the 1990s this summer, part of a pilot program that Menino said he hoped to expand throughout the city.
