Boston Safety-at-Sea Seminar Scheduled
March 12, 2011
Boaters are invited to register for the U.S. Sailing-sanctioned Safety at Sea Symposium, to be held on the MIT Campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on March 19 and 20. Safety at Sea is not only for those interested in Offshore Racing; it will prove valuable to all sailors interested in weather and safety issues related to cruising and racing, whether it be coastal or long-distance offshore passagemaking.
Combined, the seminar faculty have logged over 400,000 ocean miles in all sorts of races and weather challenges, completed 110 offshore races, and have crossed the Atlantic 12 times.
The list of pro instructors includes John Rousmaniere, Frank Bohlen, Shiela McCurdy, Steven Thing, Henry Marx and Mike Keyworth.

Handouts from all symposium sessions will be available on a Flash Drive given to all attendees.
