Bristol, RI, Fishermen Unhappy with State Street Dock
June 14, 2012
EastBayRI.com: At 95 percent completion, the State Street dock [in Bristol, Rhode Island] is structurally sound and no longer in a deteriorating condition.
That update came from harbor commission vice chairman James Dollins at a meeting on Monday night. While commercial fishermen looked forward the day when the town’s working dock would support the needs of the industry, they have found that, even in its repaired state, the dock is no more workable than when it was falling apart. So one fisherman took it upon himself to make a modification.
