Bristol, RI, Harbor Commission Approves Marina Construction

The Town of Bristol [RI]’s Harbor Commission has approved plans for the construction of a new 70-slip public marina for local boaters and transients on Bristol Harbor. In 2016, the residents of Bristol approved a $2 million bond for construction of the marina. In 2016, the Town of Bristol hired PARE Corporation to survey potential locations and design the final project.

The final design for the project is expected to be completed by fall 2018.

The marina plan still requires approval of the town council.
