Cape Cod Paddleboarder Dies

A 55-year-old man who was paddleboarding off Nauset Light Beach on Cape Cod, and who was the subject of a multi-pronged rescue effort, died on Sunday, April 28, after experiencing an “apparent medical issue” on the water, according to the Cape Cod Times.
On Sunday, police were notified around 12:20 p.m. of a man who had fallen off his paddleboard and was floating in the water off the beach.
Emergency personnel from Eastham, Orleans, Chatham and the Coast Guard responded, but were unable to revive the victim.
