Car Removed from Wareham River, MA

Wareham Week reports that the Wareham Natural Resources Department, along with the Wareham Police and Fire Departments, removed a car that was completely submerged at the Tempest Knob Boat Ramp on Monday morning, April 8.

The car and water were checked and no victims were found. The owner of the car has been notified.

The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries has placed a temporary shellfish closure of the inner portion of Wareham River.
