Chappaquiddick Separated from Vineyard Again

The Cape Cod Times reports that Chappaquiddick is an island again after storm-driven seas punched a hole in the barrier beach on the southeastern side of Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 30. It is thought that the break will be short-lived.

Chappy was only recently reconnected to the rest of the Vineyard in April, after having been separated from the island since the massive Patriots Day Storm of 2007.
