Children Enjoy New Bedford Whaling Museum

Local children taking part in summer programs at the New Bedford Whaling Museum are getting a chance to learn just how interesting their hometown history is, according to an article on SouthCoastToday.com.

The programs are for elementary-aged schoolchildren. They get to visit the museum and learn about the biology of whales and how various parts of whales used to be used by people.
