Criminal Charges Dismissed in 2010 Maine Boat Crash

Kennebec Journal: A criminal charge resulting from a 2010 boat crash on Great Pond that left 3 people injured was dismissed Monday [June 3] in Kennebec County Superior Court.

John P. Jabar Jr., 52, of Belgrade, who pleaded guilty a year ago to a charge of failing to operate a watercraft at prudent speed, withdrew that plea after completing the terms of a 12-month deferred disposition. A standard term of the agreement required Jabar to not engage in any criminal activity.
