CT’s Glasgo Pond Drained

Glasgo Pond in Griswold, CT, was drained on Monday, Oct. 5, to prepare for repairs on 146-year-old Glasgo Dam, according to The Day.

The drawdown, which began in mid-September, is scheduled to last 400 days, and has reduced the water level in the pond by 18’ to 20’.
