Damaged Norwalk Fishing Pier to be Repaired
July 18, 2012
TheHour.com: Nearly a year after Tropical Storm Irene knocked the seawall and fishing pier at Calf Pasture Beach out of commission, Federal Emergency Management Agency money has been approved to help make repairs.
“We’re approved for $225,000 for repairs to the pier. We’re starting the design now,” said Mayor Richard A. Moccia.
FEMA shares the cost of repairs for eligible work on eligible projects, covering up to 75 percent of the costs associated with those repairs.
