Disabled Yacht Gets Stuck At The Shinnecock Lock.

27East.com: A 40-foot vessel with 10 passengers got stuck between the tide gates at the Shinnecock lock on Sunday night, according to police.
At 8:30 p.m., Southampton Town Bay Constables responded to a call from an Atlantis-style motor yacht that was pinned against the tide gates during the open cycle of the locks, according to a release from Southampton Town Police. The engines and steering of the vessel were down, and the captain of the ship, who was not identified by police, told the constables that he could not steer the vessel out of the locks.
