The Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror: The Nantucket Marine Mammal Stranding Team is asking for help in tracking 3 dolphins spotted inside Nantucket Harbor on Sunday (Nov. 14) afternoon.

Edie Ray of the NMMST confirmed that a trio of what are believed to be common dolphins is inside the harbor, and exhibiting “pre-stranding behavior.” Two stranding-team members will monitor the dolphins in shifts and report any change in behavior to the New England Aquarium, she said. The trio of dolphins was spotted between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the vicinity of Abram’s Point.
