Dredging Continues on Royal River, Maine

Portland Press Herald: Perched in a tidy control booth atop a dredge named Samson III, Capt. Ted Augustine keeps a set of switches in one hand and a radio in the other.
With barely a few words over the radio, he and his 3‐man crew set in motion a muddy ballet of steel and diesel fumes, scooping massive buckets of muck from the Royal River’s narrow navigation channel, where they have been at work since October 20.
