East Providence Ten Mile River Fish Ladder Install Delayed

Providence Journal: Migratory fish will have to wait until the summer of 2015 before work on the last of a trio of fish passages on the Ten Mile River [in East Providence, RI] is completed, restoring access to 340 acres of historic spawning habitat.
While fish ladders have been constructed around dams at Turner Reservoir and Hunt’s Mill in recent years, the third one slated for the Omega Pond dam has proven far more difficult and costly.
