Essex National Heritage Photo Contest Winners

Boston.com: Last year Stanley Slysz woke up around 4:30 a.m. one August morning, packed his photography gear and headed to Winter Island to catch the sunrise illuminate the island’s lighthouse.
The resulting photo, titled “Sunrise at Winter Island,” won a first place prize this week in the 2011 Essex National Heritage Area Photo Contest.
