Fishermen Rescued off Monomoy Island

Cape Cod Online: A Coast Guard crew from Chatham, MA, rescued a sinking fishing vessel off Monomoy Island early Wednesday morning [March 30].

A 42’ rescue boat from Coast Guard Station Chatham launched at about 4:30 a.m. to retrieve the 65’ Silver Fox, which was taking on water about 7 miles southeast of the island, according to a statement from the Coast Guard.
