CapeCodOnline: There were a lot of questions for Santa and his helpers Saturday at U.S. Coast Guard Station Cape Cod Canal.

First of all, why did Santa arrive by helicopter rather than in a sled pulled by reindeer?

It was about 11:30 a.m. at the station on Coast Guard Road at the eastern end of the Canal. Santa was on his third of four helicopter trips planned this holiday season by the Friends of Flying Santa to bring Christmas gifts to families in lighthouses and lifesaving stations from New York to Maine.
