The Destroyer Joseph P. Kennedy has been through hell and high water in the 70 years since she was launched. But hanging around Fall River, Massachusetts, for 15 years has been tough on the boat.

According to an article on SouthCoastToday.com, the staff at the Battleship Cove Museum, where the Kennedy is a prime attraction, are asking for help keeping the ship afloat, trying to raise roughly $12 million to get the ship into drydock.
