A 12’ great white shark was found dead on Pleasant Road Beach in Harwich, Massachusetts recently, and state shark researcher Greg Skomal said there are no obvious signs pointing to its cause of death, according to an article on SouthCoastToday.com.

The shark, a mature male, was found late Saturday night, September 26, 2015, on the beach, said Cynthia Wingren, president of the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy. Although it was dead when it was found, it’s unknown if the shark washed up dead or died after being beached.
