Housatonic River Dredging to Begin

Dredging Today: The long-awaited dredging project on the Housatonic River is scheduled to begin by the end of October, and should last about one month.
Bill Rock, chairman of the Stratford Waterfront and Harbor Management Commission, stated: “For 13 years we’ve been working on this.”
The project includes removing of 50,000 cubic yards of silt from the Housatonic River channel.
