Irish Music Event to Help Maine’s Maritime Heritage

People will get a chance to enjoy some of the best Celtic music around while supporting Maine’s maritime heritage on July 31 at the 2011 Saltwater Celtic Music Festival.

The event’s lineup includes internationally known artists such as Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul, the Dublin City Ramblers, Buille, Karan Casey and many others.

Held at Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick, Maine, the event is hosted by the Maine Maritime Museum, which celebrates the state’s maritime heritage and culture with exhibits, interactive areas, a historic shipyard and more. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to supporting the museum.

Tickets to the event are $25.
