Iroquois Lake Users Weigh Milfoil Removal Methods

Burlington Free Press: Hinesburg [VT] residents and other lake users say they want Lake Iroquois to be both clean and safe. Up for debate is whether the two attributes are compatible.

All agree that the lake has a problem with an invasive plant, Eurasian watermilfoil, that is interfering with swimming, fishing, kayaking and enjoyment of the lake. Differing opinions have surfaced about proposed application of an herbicide for its control.
