New Haven Register: A good many of us go to our graves talking about the adventures we’d like to take.
And then there’s Reid Stowe.
In April of 2007, the New York City adventurer and artist set off on a voyage aboard a 70’ gaff-rigged schooner he built and named after his mother, Anne. Stowe and companion Soanya Ahmad sailed out of the Hudson River and into the Atlantic with 3 year’s worth of food, solar panels, tarps to catch rainwater, a laptop, an Iridium satellite telephone and a JouBeh satellite-tracking unit.
