Maine’s Boon Island Light Sold Again

Boon Island Light Station in York, Maine, in the last three months has gone from being property of the U.S. government to being sold twice to private entities.

The government originally sold the light at the end of October for $78,000. In December, the new owners turned around and sold the light for more than $119,000 to Boon Island Light, LLC, which is registered in Delaware.
